Most services will only call at one or two stops. Typically, this will be some combination of Nuneaton, Rugby and Milton Keynes Central. The slowest stopping services will call at stations such as Stafford, Wolverhampton, Sandwell & Dudley, Birmingham New Street, Birmingham International and Coventry, adding as much as an hour to the journey.
Arriving at London Euston
The cheapest way to catch the Stoke-on-Trent to London train is to arrive at London Euston Station. Right in the centre of London, this station is actually one of London's most modern, having been rebuilt in the 20th Century.
Being a major London mainline station, many destinations are reachable from Euston. If you're heading to the South West, Wales, or anywhere on the West Coast Main Line, direct trains will likely be going that way. For other destinations, you can either walk just down the road to King's Cross or St Pancras International Stations, or hop on a tube train at the integrated London Underground Station to reach any of the capital's other train stations.
Of course, there is no end to things to do in London. There is usually an interesting exhibition in the nearby British Library, or the esteemed British Museum is just a 15-minute walk away. In London, cafés and restaurants are on practically every street, so wherever you wander, there'll always be somewhere to sit down and relax.
